A pickaxe/axe rune that auto-smelts ores as you mine and turns chopped logs into coal.
The Scalding Smelt Rune infuses your pickaxe or axe with searing heat. Ores smelt instantly into their refined form when broken, and any log you chop turns directly into coal.

Effect
Mining ores with a Scalding Smelt-runed pickaxe auto-smelts them into ingots. Chopping logs with a Scalding Smelt-runed axe turns them into coal instead of dropping the log. Either way you skip the furnace step entirely.
